It is a great way to spot animals such as giraffes, zebras, and impala while getting some exercise. For the more adventurous, there are also opportunities to get close to elephants during the Elephant Experience. We enjoyed getting close and learning about the local elephants a lot. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Another wonderful activity offered by Safari Moon Lodge is hot air ballooning. To enjoy the beautiful landscape around Hoedspruit by balloon, you need to be lucky with the weather forecast. For us, it will be something to go back for.

The main area features a large fireplace, comfortable seating, and a bar. The lodge is decorated with carefully sourced antiquaries that give the place a luxury feel. The dining area serves delicious meals made with fresh ingredients. Sizwe, the chef, is great and offers the most delicious meals. So far, I haven’t eaten better in any other lodge before.
The accommodations at Safari Moon Lodge are luxurious and comfortable. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, with en-suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, and private verandas. If you have a room on the ground floor, you may get visitors such as impalas, guinea fowl, and other small animals.
